I don’t usually write reviews but I’m going through a custody battle looking for counsel and I called up there and the lady who answered was so rude no customer service, dry answers, really pushed me away from continuing my call with her. If she’s the lady who is getting clients in I would reconsider her as an employee. This one star has nothing to do with the attorneys. Really felt pushed away. And that could correlate with the attorneys that represent you because if she’s like that then it could acceptable in this establishment.

Our goal at Sessums Law Group is to meet your needs. We do have support staff who have extensive experience in scheduling consultations who respond to all inquiries for representation. This potential client called in and was advised that for answers to any specific questions that a consultation would be needed. The support staff are not lawyers and can’t give legal advice or answer any specific questions about the case. This potential client thanked the support staff responding to him and advised they would call back for an appointment and never followed up with a return call. We are sorry if the response was perceived as rude, it was a business attempt to facilitate an appointment. We are unclear what wasn’t done that was needed, but if the potential client needs an appointment, I will respond in detail to any questions he may have. Mark Sessums

I heard wonderful things about Mr. Sessums, but unfortunately he disappointed. I don't have issues with his legal advice, however he was rude, condescending, and misogynistic. I did not pay for a consultation with him because I wanted to be told what I want to hear. I went to him expecting compassion and understanding before advising me. He made assumptions and treated me as if I was on the witness stand. I felt attacked and rushed. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed. He is not the honorable person I believed him to be.

I had a fairly simple case with Heidi. She’s polite and professional. After agreeing to work together I received very little response from staff when I needed something or had a question, it would take weeks or months to move to the next step after I provided my information. I would go over a month with no response until the bill came showing me what I owe. And the end result was paying 8 times over the state average for the product I asked for. I managed to stay polite until after our business was concluded and spending an additional 3+ Sending over 20 emails requesting my retainer to be refunded (which was charged additional funds for responding to my requests for my refund). Other than the staff being polite and professional to my face there is absolutely nothing that felt worth what was paid. I will not be going here for any further services and I will aggressively warn others of what to expect here.
