I was also informed that the retainer is nonrefundable, with additional monthly fees that accumulate separately into a bill. Given that structure, I expected a more thorough and informative consultation before making any decision to proceed. Overall, the service did not meet my expectations.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m going through a custody battle looking for counsel and I called up there and the lady who answered was so rude no customer service, dry answers, really pushed me away from continuing my call with her. If she’s the lady who is getting clients in I would reconsider her as an employee. This one star has nothing to do with the attorneys. Really felt pushed away. And that could correlate with the attorneys that represent you because if she’s like that then it could acceptable in this establishment.

I heard wonderful things about Mr. Sessums, but unfortunately he disappointed. I don't have issues with his legal advice, however he was rude, condescending, and misogynistic. I did not pay for a consultation with him because I wanted to be told what I want to hear. I went to him expecting compassion and understanding before advising me. He made assumptions and treated me as if I was on the witness stand. I felt attacked and rushed. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed. He is not the honorable person I believed him to be.

I had to go back to court for a second time after my daughter's dad filed for full custody and child support after I was awarded both 8 years previously. After meeting Ms. Brittany Pinson for the first time she was honest in that she had not yet tried a child custody case, however, there was just something about her that made me want her to represent and fight for me. She's an extremely genuine, patient and relatable intellectual who fights fiercely. I tell everyone she appears small and sweet but in the courtroom she is a pit-bull! She was very thorough. I gave her TONS of paperwork, information, pretty much anything I could find in regards to my case and was impressed that she remembered absolutely everything. Even what appeared to be small insignificant things mentioned in passing, she could refer back to in court or questioning that made a world of difference in the case. I truly felt as if she cared just as much as I did about my case and my family. After having a lawyer like her advocate and fight for me the way she did I wouldn't want anyone else. She is truly there for her clients and cares about them, their families and their future. Ms. Pinson is definitely the dog you want in the fight and I mean that in the best way possible. I had a fairly simple case with Heidi. She’s polite and professional. After agreeing to work together I received very little response from staff when I needed something or had a question, it would take weeks or months to move to the next step after I provided my information. I would go over a month with no response until the bill came showing me what I owe. And the end result was paying 8 times over the state average for the product I asked for. I managed to stay polite until after our business was concluded and spending an additional 3+ Sending over 20 emails requesting my retainer to be refunded (which was charged additional funds for responding to my requests for my refund). Other than the staff being polite and professional to my face there is absolutely nothing that felt worth what was paid. I will not be going here for any further services and I will aggressively warn others of what to expect here.
